Comcast Repair Complaints Surge

Cameron W. Barr writes in The Washington Post:

Some Comcast customers in Montgomery County [Maryland] say the company is pushing them beyond the limits of consumer endurance. But Comcast says a rival, Verizon, has cut hundreds of Comcast lines in Montgomery and caused thousands of service disruptions in its haste to create infrastructure to compete in providing high-speed Internet access and other services.

Comcast calls itself the nation's leading provider of cable services, with 21.5 million subscribers in the District, Maryland, Virginia and 33 other states.

Shame. Poor Comcast, they are unable to deliver service period. Verizon does not even come into play here in Georgia, so that could not be any excuse for them here. I have just moved to a new house and I am going through this frustration again with them making appointments, rescheduling without notice or just not showing up. What a shame that it's easier for them to find an excuse and blame someone else than fix there bad company. I hope that over time Uverse puts them out of business!
