France Télécom may bid for Amena
A Bloomberg newswire article, via The International Herald Tribune, reports that:
France Télécom said Tuesday that it was considering making an offer for Grupo Auna's Spanish mobile business Amena, a business that analysts say may be worth 9 billion.
The French company is studying the books of Amena, said Nilou du Castel, a spokeswoman for France Télécom, but is not interested in the cable assets of Auna, Amena's Barcelona-based parent.
