FBI searches Austin business in anti-piracy probe

As part of a two-state anti-piracy investigation, the FBI searched the Austin headquarters of CD and DVD maker digiOptix LLC on Thursday.
The San Francisco division of the FBI is leading the investigation, which is targeting people and businesses "involved in a large-scale illegal replication and distribution of pirated CDs and DVDs," FBI spokeswoman LaRae Quy says.
The investigation is being handled by more than 100 FBI agents and police officers in California and Texas. The FBI's San Antonio field office executed the Austin search warrant.

Yes, I too have heard this rumor. It will be interesting to see if it has actually come true. And there is still some house cleaning that needs to be done. Hope the employees that are left keep eyes in the back of their heads. WOudln't trust anyone at this point and time.! Time to off the rest of the rodents!
I have now heard that mr. dikie rodent is a shipping bitch, and baaaaRAT is now the lead janitorial bitch. Rumour has it that things have never been so clean! DIGI-OPTIX IS GOING TO HELL IN A HAND BASKET! As well, I have also heard that mini mouse is still going to be screwing up everybodies payrol checks!
hmm that's funny... I was under the impression that the new management was supposed to be the exterminator/janitor... perhaps he just wasn't up to the job! can't really blame him though... its going to take one HELL of a credit line to clean up the mess those pesky rodents have (and continue to) make.
If only they had the time to fix their machines so they could shut them down for the weekend... that would show the feds who their up against! nope... no amatures here... Well it looks like the house cleaning has really begun. Through the grapevine we here at digi-demen..optix-digi.. um. anyway, have heard that MR DICKIE has been asked to depart the premisis for good.. this has not yet been comfirmed, but it shall be updated once it is. Operation clean sweep has begun!

They were going to try the Media Dimensions trick and start the company up under a different name after Digioptix filed for BANKRUPTCY! but I guess the bankers have finally had enough.

Yah, I hear that they are trying to open a company called IXON or some stupid name like that. And they are moving to Maxwell. Good luck keeping anybody from digi! ANd none of those morons know how to run a company. Especially a cd/dvd manufacturing one. The new owner has no clue about the equipment. LOSERS!!! Good ridance to bad luck, and bounced checks!
I also hear that one of the employees there still has not gotten their last pay check that that dumb ass romeo owes him. Crazy. Glad I didn't work there!
Well, the company has now closed. Good ridance. Hopefully they don't open back up somewhere else. I just wish that bharat would have gotten what he deserved! PRISON TIME! I can't believe that the website is still up. LOSERS!

From what I understand one very rich guy bought out the whole operation and has opened back up somewhere in the austin area.
Looks like Arun's idea for Ixon in Maxwell has died out. Nobody including Romeo was willing to work for him because everything he promised was a lie. I hear that at least, Romeo was able to sell off some office equipment and supplies to get everyone paid off. Poor guy ended up getting shafted without any pay for the last 3 months! Glad its over!
Yah, I am glad its over too. I actually went and confronted the new owner of the place and said that he still owed people money. He got quite uncomfortable and got in my face. I told him what I thought of the whole thing, and that he had better stop telling everyone that all the employees got paid, because that is total BS!! Glad its over for th emost part. Just wish I could get my money!!
