Rhode Island company buying Austin's NetBotz for $31M

Austin's NetBotz Inc. was acquired by American Power Conversion, a manufacturer of power supplies and surge protection products, for $31 million in cash.
NetBotz is an IP-based environmental and video monitoring device provider. APC will integrate NetBotz's security monitoring products into its portfolio.
NetBotz's devices provide early warning and instant alerts to help organizations stay on top of environmental threats such as extreme heat and water leaks, human error or sabotage, and radioactive and chemical materials. The company's products include fluid detectors, particle sensors, motion detection cameras, and management software. NetBotz has more than 2,700 organizations using its products.
NetBotz has 61 employees.
