Nokia Wins TELUS DSLAM Deal

TELUS, one of Canada's leading telecommunications service providers, and Nokia, a global leader in network solutions, announced today that they have entered into an agreement to use Nokia broadband infrastructure to build and support TELUS' next-generation IP broadband access network.

TELUS has selected the Nokia D500 IP DSLAM (Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer) multiservice platform, equipped with ADSL2+ technology to create multi-megabit bandwidth capacity and greater reach for the operator's services, specifically its highly anticipated broadband services.
