Sprint to buy Alamosa for $4.3B
A Reuters newswire article, via Yahoo! News, reports that:
Sprint Nextel Corp. said on Monday it agreed to buy wireless affiliate Alamosa Holdings Inc. for about $4.3 billion, including the assumption of about $900 million of net debt.
Sprint said Alamosa shareholders would receive $18.75 per share in cash under the agreement.
