Via The Austin Business Journal.

Scientists from the University of Texas at Austin have engineered a new anthrax antitoxin that one day might be used to protect people from the deadly disease without the use of antibiotics.

The new antitoxin treatment, developed in collaboration with the Southwest Foundation for Biomedical Research in San Antonio, was reported in the December issue of the academic journal, Infection and Immunity.
