Hutchison Confirms Telstra Negotiations

3G mobile carrier Hutchison has opened talks with Telstra on extending their network sharing agreement to Telstra's planned 850MHz 3G network.
Hutchison chief financial officer David Dyson said discussions between the carriers concerning Hutchison accessing any 850MHz network had already commenced.
"We are talking to Telstra at the moment, because clearly we have got into bed with Telstra on the 2.1GHz level," he said.
