Seigenthaler Wikipedia Prankster Caught
Syuart Gorman writes in The Inquirer:
WIKIPEDIA CAME under fire [recently] due to an anonymously posted article regarding John Seigenthaler Sr..
But the article's author has been discovered according to the New York Times. 38 year-old Brian Chase claims to have written the material in order to shock a co-worker.
As the investigation closed in on Mr. Chase, he realized that "the right thing to do" was come forward. Yes, that's probably better for him than just getting caught red-handed, but how seriously can his admission be taken considering its tardiness? Well, to be fair, Mr. Chase quit his job to avoid complications for his employer. Maybe he's entirely serious about it.
