Telstra Bosses Change Procurement Rules

Michael Sainsbury writes in Australian IT:

TELSTRA has tossed out its own rule book for contracts worth up to $5.6 billion, preferring to work with the biggest companies as it moves quickly to revamp its network and software platforms.

Chief financial officer John Stanhope has admitted that Telstra is pitting as few as two vendors against each other in a new procurement regime.
