Southwest Airlines Debuts Wireless Check-In at Austin-Bergstrom

Southwest Airlines Co., the No. 1 carrier at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, on Monday introduced wireless flight check-in.

By visiting mobile.southwest.com, customers with Web-enabled mobile devices can get access to several key Southwest.com features, such as flight check-in and Southwest contact information.

However, at the time I publish this blog entry, there appears to be some sort of problem (overload?). Visiting the mobile.southwest.com web site yields the following error message:

What Happened?

This Southwest Airlines' Internet Feature is temporarily unavailable.

What you need to do:

Please try again in a few minutes.
