Telefonica Gains More of O2, Extends Offer Period
An AFP newswire article, via Yahoo! News, reports that:
Spanish telecoms giant Telefonica said that its takeover bid of O2 has been accepted by shareholders owning 62.72 percent of the British mobile phone company.
Telefonica meanwhile also said Tuesday that it was extending the offer period for O2 by eight days to January 20.
