FBI: University of Texas Powder is Not Ricin

The mysterious powder found in a University of Texas dorm that FBI officials feared was the deadly poison ricin has turned out not to be harmful.More here.
FBI spokesman Rene Salinas said today that testing showed that the substance, which a UT freshman found in a roll of quarters on Thursday afternoon, was not poisonous.
"It rules out anything hazardous," said Salinas, who added that no further testing will be conducted to find out what the substance was.
