Mauritania Seeks New GSM Mobile Operator Bids
An AFP newswire article, via Yahoo! News, reports that:
The government of Mauritania has invited bids for the country's third mobile phone licence to help ease congestion on existing networks, the telecommunications regulatory authority said.More here.
The call for tenders will cose on July 3, the regulator said in a statement.
The granting of new licences is part of moves to liberalise the country's telecoms sector, it said Tuesday.
