National Immigration Rights Protest Day and Austin Traffic

Well, it's official -- the commute into work this morning was the best, quickest, and most non-gridlocked drive I've ever had in Austin.

The meaning of this is an an exercise left for the reader. I'm not even sure what that means myself, but it sure was a nice commute this morning.

Let's wait and see what it looks like during this afternoon's rush hour.

I didn't notice a real difference. Then again, most of the immigrants I see driving to work every morning are piled 8-10 thick into a single pickup truck.

Sure 10,000 Austin-area immigrants might not go to work today --- but means what? 100 fewer cars on the roads?
