N.J. Trooper Charged with Invading Companion's Privacy

Karen Sudol writes in The Asbury Park Press:

A state trooper who took a picture of a 25-year-old woman while engaged in a sexual act with her in Belmar last summer shared it with others without her knowledge including a state juvenile corrections officer, according to prosecutors.

Using the camera on his mobile phone, authorities say 26-year-old Christopher Johnston of South Plainfield took a picture of the woman while engaged in a consensual sexual act with her Sept. 4 at a Belmar summer residence. He then showed it to "other individuals," according to a Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office release. Prosecutors would not say in which town the woman resides or disclose her relationship to Johnston.

State juvenile corrections officer Matthew Toranzo, 25, of New Brunswick received the picture from Johnston and sent it to another person without the victim's consent or knowledge, according to prosecutors.
