UT System Forms Partnership with Texas Advanced Computing Center

The University of Texas System Board of Regents has established a three-year partnership with the Texas Advanced Computing Center that it hopes will significantly expand research programs and increase external research funding at its institutions.More here.
The partnership, which includes Dell Inc. as the leading technology provider, will invest $7 million over three years to increase the capabilities of the Lonestar high-performance computing cluster at TACC, and make it available to UT System researchers at the 14 other institutions in addition to those at UT Austin.
