Craigslist Sellers Robbed by Buyers

A Contra Costa Times article by George Kelly, via The Mercury News, reports that:

Two people who advertised 11 jackets for sale on a popular on-line classified ad site were robbed in an underground garage by a pair of teenagers who had answered their ad, police said Monday.

The sellers, both from the Livermore-Pleasanton area, went to the underground garage of the Target store on North Main Street, on Sunday evening to show the jackets they had advertised on Craigslist, said police Lt. Mark Covington.

The prospective buyers arrived in a black Lexus with paper plates. The one in the passenger seat pulled a silver semiautomatic handgun with a brown hand grip from the car's center console and pointed it at the sellers, saying, "This is how we're going to do this."
