Alan Boyle writes for MSNBC:

For the second day in a row, weather forced a postponement of the shuttle Discovery's launch on Sunday — setting up the next attempt for the Fourth of July.

The delay will give the launch team a chance to replenish supplies aboard the shuttle — and give the crew a chance to rest up. The next launch opportunity will come at 2:38 p.m. ET Tuesday.

The weather outlook was worse than it was on Saturday, when the countdown was called off at the T-minus-9-minute mark due to the threat of lightning from anvil clouds.
