UK: Air Passengers Face More Disruption

Tens of thousands of passengers have been forced to cope with a fourth day of disruption in the wake of an alleged terror plot to blow up passenger jets.

Many of the problems were concentrated in and around the London area, as operators and airlines battled the chaos and praised travellers following Thursday's bomb conspiracy security alert.

Operator BAA said up to a third of all flights - around 200 - due to leave from Heathrow, the world's busiest airport, had been cancelled today.
