San Francisco: Public Memorial Saturday For James Kim
Friends and relatives will hold a public memorial Saturday for James Kim, who died after being stranded in the Oregon wilderness with his family last December.More here.
The service is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Memorial Bandshell and Music Concourse in Golden Gate Park. It will be followed by a service celebrating Kim's life, organizers said.
"This will be a family event -- bring your kids, bring a picnic, and bring warm clothes. We will be celebrating with DJs, music, and dancing until sunset," organizers wrote on the Web site, jamesandkati.com.
