U.S. Awards Second Set of Networx Contracts

The federal government awarded the second set of multiyear contracts under the $20 billion Networx program today to five companies that will provide voice, IP, wireless, satellite and IP services to 135 federal agencies.More here.
The awards for the so-called Networx Enterprise program went to AT&T Inc., Level 3 Communications LLC, MCI Communications Services Inc., Qwest Government Services Inc. and Sprint Solutions Inc., according to a statement from the U.S. General Services Administration.
