Turn the Page: AOL Moving Headquarters to New York

Howard Schneider and Zachary Goldfarb write in The Washington Post:

AOL is moving its corporate headquarters from Dulles to New York, the company announced today, ending a saga that helped cement Washington as a center of the technology boom but also gave rise to corporate scandal and ill-fated dealmaking.

The company employs 4,000 people in Northern Virginia and most will remain here, according to AOL's announcement of the move. Senior executives, however, will be transferred to new headquarters at 770 Broadway in Manhattan.
