U.S. Government: Citizens Should Change Their Definition of Privacy

Deputy Director of U.S. National Intelligence Donald Kerr

An AP newswire article by Pamela Hess, via The Boston Globe, reports that:

As Congress debates new rules for government eavesdropping, a top intelligence official says it is time that people in the United States changed their definition of privacy.

Kerr's comments come as Congress is taking a second look at the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

Note: This give a whole new meaning to the phrase "Trust us -- we're from the government, and we're here to help you." Right. -ferg
