Google yanks two political ads attacking Reps. Pelosi and DeLay
Michael Bazeley (Mercury News) writes in an article via Yahoo! News that:
A complaint this week by a conservative advocacy group over a political attack ad it tried to place on Google's Web site has again raised questions about the company's restrictive advertising policies and whether it can effectively police them.
Google nonetheless rejected the anti-Pelosi ad, saying it does not permit ad text that "advocates against an individual.''RightMarch.com, a conservative group based in
Georgia , tried last week to place an ad on Google and its advertising network that was critical of California CongresswomanNancy Pelosi , a Democrat. The ad was a direct response to one already running on Google attacking Republican Congressman Tom DeLay, the House majority leader.
