TerraWave to Weather-Proof Cisco Access Points

A bit of local (San Antonio) news.

Carmen Nobel writes in eWeek:

Wi-Fi accessory maker TerraWave Solutions on Tuesday will announce plans to sell weather-proof enclosures for Cisco Systems Inc.'s wireless LAN gear.

At Cisco's annual Networkers event here [Las Vegas], TerraWave will showcase the enclosures, which meet the NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association) standards for protection against heat, cold, dust and rain, said officials at TerraWave, in San Antonio.

The enclosures are designed for Cisco's industry-leading Aironet access points.
