Motorola to invest in Trapeze Networks
Motorola Ventures, the strategic equity investment arm of Motorola Inc., has made a strategic investment in wireless LAN mobility system company Trapeze Networks.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Founded in 2002, Trapeze Networks (Pleasanton, Calif.), offers a WLAN mobility solution that allows users to roam securely anywhere in a network and over any topology. Trapeze also leads the Open Access Point Initiative (OAPI), which allows customers to add value to their installed base of third-party access points.
