Texas Trolling for Cyberpredators

Cody is a husky man with a neatly trimmed goatee and a Glock pistol in his right-side holster who tells online chatters that his hobbies include "cheerleading dance."
The investigator with the Texas attorney general's Cyber Crimes Unit, who asked that his full name not be used, sits in a small room in a downtown Austin office building, trying to nab pedophiles in cyberspace before they harm children.
On a recent weekday, Cody was posing as a 13-year-old girl in one of six chat room windows that he had open on his computer.
Nine minutes after he began chatting with a self-described "hot Spanish guy from Madrid," the man asked if the 13-year-old would like to see him naked.
Cody will wait for the man to suggest a meeting, which could happen soon or after months of chatting.
