The Inquirer: HP terminates hundreds in Colorado Springs

Esther Tigre writes in The Inquirer:

A LOCAL NEWSPAPER has confirmed earlier reports from the INQ of layoffs in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

HP described the INQUIRER as a "rumor sheet" to the same local newspaper, confirming our earlier story, but our sources worldwide claim the computer giant still has a big morale problem, despite its shiny new CEO.

The trouble is, the trouble in Colorado Springs appears to be far worse than we reported earlier. Is it punishment?

The Colorado Springs Gazette reports hundreds of HP jobs were "eliminated" from its centre there - and according to the paper only got 10 minutes notice.
