Terrorists steal British government's mobile phone
Nick Farrell writes in The Inquirer:
HER MAJESTY'S Foreign Office is mulling over what to do about a phone bill that ended up on the mat from its Iraqi office.
It seems that the satellite phone had a run up a bill of $890,000 and was missing. In fact it had been missing since June, when the British Embassy in Baghdad blocked it after the company which leased it noticed discrepancies in the billing pattern.
According to the Current Bun, the phone was stolen by insurgents who used it in Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
The Foreign Office has not confirmed the yarn, which can be seen here.
