General Dynamics to Acquire Anteon for $2.1B
An AP newswire article, via The Washington Post, reports that:
Defense contractor General Dynamics Corp. said Wednesday it agreed to acquire information technology firm Anteon International Corp. for $2.1 billion.
Under the deal, General Dynamics would acquire Anteon for $55.50 in cash for each Anteon share, representing a 36 percent premium over Anteon's Tuesday closing price of $40.77. The overall deal is valued at $2.2 billion, including $100 million of net debt.
