Japan's NTT DoCoMo To Take 10% Stake in South Korean KTF

An AFP newswire article, via Yahoo! News, reports that:

Japan's leading cellphone company NTT DoCoMo plans to acquire a roughly 10 percent stake in South Korea's second-largest mobile carrier KTF as part of a business alliance, a report said.

The deal, worth 60-72 billion yen (500-600 million dollars), is expected to be sealed later this month, the Nihon Keizai Shimbun business daily said without naming its sources.
