H5N1 News: WHO Experts to Monitor Bird Flu Outbreak in Ukraine
Experts from the World Health Organization (WHO) arrived in Ukraine Monday to study the recent bird flu outbreak in the Crimea, an autonomy on the Black Sea, the country's health ministry said.
The experts plan to review the measures taken by Ukrainian specialists to counter the spread of the virus, as well as to offer assistance in preventing it from spreading to other territories.
