Viacom Ready to Sell Simon & Schuster
A Reuters newswire article, via CNN/Money, reports that:
Viacom Inc. is ready to sell theme parks owned by its Paramount Pictures division, as well as book publisher Simon & Schuster, chairman Sumner Redstone said Tuesday.
Redstone was in Dubai to visit Showtime Arabia, a satellite pay TV joint venture between Viacom and Kuwait Projects Co. He declined to confirm reports that Showtime Arabia was planning a $2 billion initial public offering.
