The Most Hated Industry on Wall Street: Telecom

Telecom companies aren't getting much support from Wall Street these days. Stock analysts are giving the industry a lower rating than any other major sector.Much more here.
That was the calculation compiled by StarMine, a research rating firm that compared analysts' rankings for 10 industries on a scale of 1 (strong buy) to 5 (strong sell). Telecom services came in at 2.6 (neutral), the lowest rating of all 10 sectors, just behind utilities, financials and consumer staples.
Reasons for the telecom services sector's unpopularity are no mystery.
