UK: Jury Still Out on Mobile Phone TV

A Financial Times article by Jonathan Loades-Carter, via Yahoo! News, reports that:

Two studies into broadcasting television on 3G mobile phones have proved inconclusive as to how much the British public would welcome the services, and how much they would be prepared to pay for them.

On Tuesday O2, the UK mobile phone operator, claimed that preliminary findings from a trial it was conducting among a cross-section of its users in Oxford showed that they were overwhelmingly favourable towards the service and would consider taking it up.
