Charter Communications Sells Units for Nearly $900M




A Reuters newswire article, via CNN/Money, reports that:

Charter Communications said Tuesday it plans to sell several cable systems representing 316,000 subscribers for $896 million, and the company posted a narrower quarterly loss, helped by subscriber growth.

Charter posted a fourth-quarter net loss of $336 million, or $1.06 per share, compared with a loss of $340 million, or $1.12 per share, a year earlier.
