Vodafone Says No Change in Policy on Verizon Stake
A Reuters newswire article, via Yahoo! News, reports that:
British mobile phone company Vodafone Group Plc said on Tuesday it had no plans to sell its 45 percent stake in U.S. Verizon Wireless.
Chief executive Arun Sarin told reporters: "Periodically, the board looks at this question (selling Verizon stake) and asks 'Is this a good strategy or should we be doing something else?'. Every time we look at this we have come to the conclusion that this (keeping the stake) is a good strategy.
