Nanjing Telecom Will Charge ADSL Based On Traffic
Nanjing Telecom is planning measures to regulate broadband use and restrict P2P software applications which occupy a large part of the public traffic Internet flow.
One facet of these measures will be to charge for ADSL service based on bandwidth.
A representative from Nanjing Telecom tells local media that the new fee policy will enable all users to more fairly enjoy various kinds of broadband services. However, no concrete charging measures have come out yet.
There is no timeline yet for initiation of the reported changes.
