Canada: RCMP Investigates B.C. Government Computer Breach
A Canadian Press news article, via The Globe and Mail, reports that:
The RCMP has been brought in after a breach of the B.C. government's computer system last month.More here.
Labour Minister Mike de Jong is trying to downplay the significance of the hacker attack, which appears to have been launched from the Netherlands.
He says it was an attempt to make use of the government network, but he refused to give any more details.
