Lucent Wins Riverstone Auction with $207M Bid
Ending speculation of a Lucent-Ericsson bidding war, an AP newswire article, via SFGate.com, reports that:
Lucent Technologies Inc.'s $207 million cash bid for Riverstone Networks Inc., an Ethernet infrastructure company, was declared the winner in an auction.More here.
The sale of Santa Clara, Calif.-based Riverstone is subject to approval by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
Riverstone expects the deal to close in early April.
