McAfee to Invest $80M in India, Hire 400

An AP newswire article, via SFGate.com, reports that:

U.S. security software maker McAfee Inc. said Wednesday that it plans to invest $80 million in India and hire 400 people by 2008 in a bid to expand operation in the world's outsourcing hub.

The money will be used to expand its research and development center in the southern Indian city of Bangalore, McAfee Chairman George Samenuk told reporters.
