While it's not for sale per se, Sharp's DC2J1DZ115 a tiny WiFi module might still make itself useful. The 10 x 10 x 1.6mm module will be fitted into portable devices such as mobile phones, cameras and PDAs.
The full 802.11b/g Wireless LAN module uses technology that integrates a high-frequency analog signal processor with digital signal units like the power management unit (PMU) and the media access controller (MAC) to reduce its size. Shipment starts this month.
