Cingular to Spend $346M on Texas Network This Year

Cingular Wireless will spend $346 million this year to enhance its Texas network.More here.
Cingular's 2006 investment will bring high speed data services, portable and permanent generators and other enhancements to nearly 130 new cell sites. Eleven of the new sites will be in the Austin area.
Of the $346 million, Cingular is investing $156 million in the South Texas region, which includes San Antonio, Austin, Houston, Corpus Christi and the Rio Grande Valley.
