Tribune Buys ForSaleByOwner.com Realty Web Site

A Reuters newswire article, via Yahoo! News, reports that:

Tribune Co. on Monday said its Tribune Interactive subsidiary has acquired ForSaleByOwner.com, a real estate Web site that connects buyers and sellers through private-party residential property listings.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

ForSaleByOwner.com lists tens of thousands of homes on its Web site, and had more than 1.6 million average monthly unique visitors in 2005, Tribune said.
