Report: Microsoft in Talks to Acquire DoubleClick
A Reuters newswire article, via Yahoo! News, reports that:
Online advertising firm DoubleClick Inc. is exploring a sale and is in talks with Microsoft Corp. and other potential suitors, according to people familiar with the matter, the Wall Street Journal reported on its Web site.More here.
The New York-based company is using investment bank Morgan Stanley to help sound out its options, including a possible stock market listing, the Journal reported.
No one at DoubleClick was immediately available for comment.
