Joris Evers Leaves C|Net, Lands at McAfee

CNET News.com security reporter Joris Evers is leaving the journalism field to take a job in McAfee's PR department.

Evers has confirmed he will join the Santa Clara, Calif. security vendor on May 21 as director of public relations.

He joins McAfee at a time when the anti-virus powerhouse is looking to rebuild its public image, which has taken a beating from an accounting scandal that has ripped apart its management team.
