Community College of Southern Nevada: Personal Info on 200k Students Possibly Stolen
The Community College of Southern Nevada is warning nearly 200,000 current and past students that their names and social security numbers may have been stolen... months ago.More here.
CCSN president Richard Carter says it's not certain whether anything was actually stolen from the school's computer system, but he says a virus was detected in February. It was found in one of two servers that store student information.
