Photronics cuts 20% of headcount in Texas site, sources say
Being a "naturalized" Texan living Austin, I always hate to hear about tech layoffs in my neck of the woods. Mark LaPedus writes in the EE Times that "In an apparent move to cut costs, photomask supplier Photronics Inc. laid off 20 percent of its workforce within its R&D site in Austin, Texas last week, according to sources."
