Judge denies iPCS move to halt Sprint-Nextel deal
Sprint Corp. said on Tuesday that a judge had denied a motion by one of its affiliates, iPCS Inc., to temporarily block Sprint and Nextel Communications Inc. from closing their merger.
Sprint said the Illinois judge had blocked Sprint from sharing with Nextel certain information about its agreement with iPCS. A hearing in the case is scheduled for Friday.
